Macro Lab in the Arctic with Takuvik

Sharif Mirshak and Noé Sardet participated in the 2015 Green Edge Ice camp near Qikiqtarjuaq in Nunavut.

The oceanographic expedition on the icecap studies the evolution of the phytoplankton bloom in the springtime. The Takuvik team (Univ. Laval & CNRS) has set up a complete dry lab in the school of the community. Parafilms has started shooting new macro footage of arctic planktonic species for their next documentary film: Arctic Bloom.
