The Second Plankton Festival in Saint-Gilles

We took part in the second edition of the  Festival du Plancton held in Saint-Gilles from June 19 to 22, 2025, organized by skipper Amaury Guérin and the warm and dedicated team of Plankton Planet 

Inside a yurt, we presented our immersive installation  “The Plankton Ballet”, exhibited photographs, and led a plankton imaging workshop attended by around thirty participants eager to learn how to photograph planktonic organisms collected around Saint-Gilles.

Book signings for the books “Plancton – aux origines du vivant” as well as participation in panel discussions, completed our contribution to this annual event. It brings together the educational and artistic community engaged with plankton ecosystems to exchange knowledge and ideas.
